Gus’ customer service is top notch. He went out of his way to make us feel welcomed and communicated about everything that was going on with the car.
My wife’s explorer was in the shop for six weeks because of inability to get parts and when I picked it up was extremely dirty I had gotten an alert for low tire pressure while they had it when I picked it up low tire warning on so apparently all they did was put air in it and told me to come get it it’s been a few days now and the tire is loosing air looks like I’ll have to take it back again should have fixed it in the first place would be nice to have my cars serviced locally but have not had many good experiences at Upland Ford
The repair in the service department took almost 1 year to be completed. Once the Ford transit was taken in for repairs they still did not fix what needed to be fixed. We then had to take it once more to finally get it repaired.
You’re a service manager, Steve, was very helpful and explained everything to me. I do though after test driving it myself I am believe I might bring the car back in to have the brakes re-checked.
The vehicle was brought in to have cam phasers replaced. Estimated time was 2 weeks. It ended up taking almost 6 weeks. Always a promise to be ready by Friday but then there was also always an excuse as to why it wasn't ready. Finally ready and I get it back dirty. I took delivery of it covered in dust. There was also quite a bit of bird crap on it. Not happy at all with Upland Ford. I've been a customer for a long time but will only go back in desperation.

The repair took much longer than promised, I rented a car for 4 days, only to find out last Friday work on it had yet to be started. Down $200 for the rental that I really did not need. Car was returned today to my home, filthy dirty, and the interior dome lights were on. When this was noticed, I felt the lights, they were hot. Who knows how long they had been on. I really couldn’t be less pleased, and extremely disappointed with the added rental car expenses, the delay, the filthy return of my well kept, beautiful car, and the dome lights left on. What else could be wrong???
Great communication, I was impressed with the service
I felt like I was a bother. And because I was stuck at home I couldn't check in with the service rep. They rechecked the cooling system but found nothing. They didnt run a diagnostic test. Was told there was a week or more before anyone could look further into the overheating & check engine light. Said I would just buy a new car. Being a loyal customer for about 30 years I would think they would want to keep my business. Maybe sell me a new car. Don't like the new facility. The service dept is not friendly like the old location. Miss the warm, friendly service that was the hallmark of your business.
