It is over 100 degrees today and our AC has been blowing warm air for weeks. When we brought our 2015 Honda Civic to have the air conditioning inspected this afternoon, we were told that it wasn’t under recall or warranty…despite the fact that Honda has had issues with it’s Civic and Odyssey models’ condensers for years, and 2016-2019 models ARE under recall!! The shop offered to conduct a dye test for $300 ($298.95, to be exact), to test whether the compressor is broken…something I confirmed with less than $40 and some R134a a few days ago. It didn’t hold the charge; indicative of condenser or other AC component issues. Separately, a replacement AC compressor costs ~$150-200. Why would anyone pay seven-plus times more for a test that wouldn’t fix the original problem and costs ~$100 more than a replacement part? After taking the vehicle to McGrath’s shop, we then took it to an AC specialist. Guess what they found? A faulty compressor…just like all of the other disappointed Civic owners. McGrath’s service shop provided no meaningful remedies to our broken Honda Civic and only offered an, expensive, modicum of support. We will have our vehicle repaired elsewhere. We will file an NHSTA complaint. And we will add our name to a litany of other disappointed Civic owners to a class action lawsuit.

My appointment was at 10:15 and I was there until 1:30. I asked when dropping car off for a car wash and didn’t receive one. I was told sorry about the wait but at least you got your key.

Normally they wash my car after an oil change and we had a coupon for 59 $ and they said they won’t take it because prices went up. Just overall not the normal service at get at your dealership in the past.

Doesn’t matter what feedback I provide, McGrath St Charles never responds or acts on what feedback is given. The customer service is beyond terrible and your service advisors need coaching on servicing customers and basic etiquette. I am highly confident this feedback won’t see light of day.

I requested my car be washed after service. It was not. He invited me back but I'm not driving 40 minutes for a free car wash and I didn't have time to get back in the line. It's frustrating having this perk and never getting to take advantage of it

The service at your dealership is terrific. I stopped going to another dealer because the experience was so poor. This was a follow up visit from my May service and I intend to work with you in the future.
