actually Max handled my problem But Mark was the first person with whom I came in contact. He and Max are the best and Fred bandy also helped me when I called by insisting I come in straight away and luckily I did because I needed a new tire. Maureen Wild
I brought my car in this morning for a flooded engine. I was charged over $120 for labor, even though I declined the suggested repairs for today (the car ended up starting and I needed my car the next morning). When I asked for a breakdown of these charges, they weren’t able to provide that. I was going to come back to have the suggested repairs done, but after being surprised with $120 in unexplained labor charges, I don’t trust that I am not being scammed. Severely disappointed with the lack of transparency, as this is the second time I have had this occur at Bob Baker Mazda service center. As someone who’s family owns multiple dealerships and service centers in other states, I can say I’m severely disappointed in the service I received and know that what I experienced is NOT good business practice.
He has always been great to work with for many years even when it's last minute car problems.

Max goes above and beyond to make sure everything is done correctly and really explains what repairs need to be done. He took great care of me and my vehicle.
Mark was an excellent advocate for me with Mazda Corp and answered all my questions. He also took the time to show me my old and new engine when my car was torn apart in the service bay because he knew it was important to me.
Not a good first impression! Poor responses to my concern and questions about my vehicle. After picked up and got back to work, noticed panel where noise was coming from has hand greasy/oil spot. Carpet was dirty, looks like car was washed but windows are all smudged front & back. I had just washed it 2 days prior. This is my first new car in 15 years, after a divorce, able to save for it. I hope not to have to return to this location. Thank you for your request for feedback.
I have known Max Hackedorn for several years now . He has always provided me with competent and professional service. If he doesn’t have an answer to something he will find the answer. In June of 2018, I brought my 2013 Maz 5 in for service. After having the oil changed and other minor things done, I was told by someone other than Max, that I would need new axels that would cost $1540. I left not having it done because I couldn’t t afford it. Today, 7 months later, I brought my 5 back in because of wheel shaking. I told Max that I would need axels like I was told in 6/18 and thought it was quite pricey what I was quoted. After Max checked it out himself,
He said the shaking was due not to bad axels, but to misalignment of tires and that all 4 needed to be replaced. What I paid for the new tires was a lot less than what I would have paid for the misdiagnosed axels. That misdiagnosis should NEVER have happened
Especially from s reputable company such as Bob Bsker Mazda.

Both he and Tom (Service Director) provided an Uber pickup and a 2018 CX-5 loaner which was a major factor in my decision to purchase my 2018 CX-5. Max was on top of fixing the electronics issues I experienced. Every staff member I dealt with was extremely courteous and helpful.

Max was amazing! Very communicative throughout the whole process and made it understandable for me and very professional. My car is running great and I’m even bringing my sister tomorrow to take her Mazda 6 in for some recall things. I couldn’t be happier with how you guys handled everything. Also the man who checked me out for getting the car back was so sincere and helped me even though you guys had just closed. The girl that initially set me up in the service department also was very nice and helpful. Overall great experience.
