Max made my 1st time experience and absolute pleasure. I purchase this car for my son and can honestly tell you I was a little hesitant going to a dealership for services because I thought it would cost me an arm and leg. Max walked me through the process and had my car ready the very next day. To my surprise Bob Baker services found the issue, fixed it and got most of the work covered under warranty. Thanks to Max and Bob Baker I am a loyal customer and will continue coming back for all my service and maintenance work needed for my son’s Car.

When I decided to go on my search for a car, I knew it will be a MAZDA. That was the easy part, what I was looking for was the complete experience. I knew the Miata MX5 RF 2019 will be exceptional but the clincher was the sales person. I have gone to several dealers, Mazda dealers but nothing even came close to how Dan Beeman took care of us. He is like no other car client service person I have ever met; over the phone he made a very good impression, he was the reason we made the drive to Carlsbad Bob Baker. He did not only have our best interest in mind, he had our best interest at heart! Now, that is the experience, I want to go with my brand new red Miata. A memory that was not only positive but exemplary!! That dealership is so lucky to have him. An asset! He was sincere and his matching the price from another dealership for the same exact car was sealed with his authentic service. I should say, thank you for recognizing his value as he presented not just the cat but delivered an experience that is worthy of Mazda and Bob Baker.Btw, I'm loving my car.

Mark was helpful with my service from the original visit to the completion today when my taillights were installed. I appreciate that your dealership has a desk for working while waiting and today I noticed the water & snacks (which I didn't see the last time). Also, my car was washed, which was a nice surprise and added touch. This was my first experience with your service center and I will return. Thank you!

First, Mark James did an excellent job of getting my infotainment concern (inoperative Pandora interface) looked at, especially considering I did not have an appointment! However, neither the technician nor a Mazda salesperson with similar car and Samsung phone to mine were able to solve the main problem, even after the software was updated. However, today, I discovered on my own that there is a setting in Pandora that allows the Mazda system to turn Pandora on in my car; once I toggled that setting to "on", Pandora works as it should! There was a second issue; we still don't know why the CD player does not show the next song by name as it plays songs in order off of any CD (whether factory-made or burned). I expect that Mark can still get his technician to work with Mazda for resolution of THAT issue, now that I've spent money for the software update!

I just looked under the hood and a bolt for air intake is missing and one of the hoses on intake manifold wasn’t reinstalled. I had much higher expectations.

There is an unresolved problem with the replacement windshield wiper blades I bought at Baker this summer. Not Mark's fault; he's doing what he can, but I'll probably be back when it rains again!
