Brent was courteous and timely in his communication. However, the recommendation for service was not helpful. $6,000 to fix a transmission on a 2010 car is ridiculous. I know the transmission can be worked on and the clutches repaired (you carry the parts in inventory). But VW instructs the service team to only recommend complete replacement. 2010 GTI with 78,000 miles that followed the recommended service intervals, the transmission failed, and VW tells me my only option is to pay $6000 or walk away from the car. I will NEVER buy a VW again after this experience.

it to my mechanic for a second opinion, who did the service for $270.
