Had a battery go bad in 20 months. I felt Bob Baker or VW should have picked up the cost since my Golf Sportwagon TDI was new to us in 4/2017. The fact the car sat for 2 years in a lot with battery installed is not my problem nor due to my use. To earn my business & create good PR, VW should have picked up the bill.

Honestly the representative was rude, unprofessional, did not let me know the status of my vehicle throughout the day. The only communication I received was an automated email telling me to respond to the email if I had questions about the status, and when I responded saying I had not heard anything I received no response. I had come in due to safety concerns regarding my eyesight turning on and off on it's own randomly, the representative's response was to raise his voice, state they couldn't recreate the issue and were not about to fly in techs from Japan. He told me that it could be caused by snow blocking the sensors (despite me informing him my vehicle had never been kn such conditions) and repeatedly told me to refer to the owners manual. The only reason I will consider returning for service is the warranty but I refuse to deal with this representative again.

Yes, super nice guy and was informative and made sure I was updated. My car was serviced and he updated me on the entire process and future maintenance. Really good and nice rep.
