I brought my 2006 truck in for diagnostics for rough idle at startup which included taking off the valve cover and looking at cam, lifters, etc. The repairs quoted were $8000 with some concern over a metal lifter rod that was broken and discharged into the engine possibly doing other damage so I asked them to put the truck back together so that I could trade it in -- probably at Westway when I picked it up. It is now running much rougher (and no longer just at startup) than when I brought it in. I was prepared for some degradation, but surprised by the amount. Your service representatives (esp Cameron) were all great, but I doubt I'll be back to Westway.

Just great friendly people all around. All of my questions were answered efficiently. The other gal in the office (unfortunately didn't get her name but she took care of me while the service person was busy). Happy i went there for service.

Took over a month to sort everything out due to problems with work by other entities, but eventually it got worked out. Colin was exceedingly helpful though the process, and kept me well posted and taken care of throughout. The situation was frustrating due to scheduling issues, but everything fell into place in the end.

Thanks. The people were all amazing. The process however is slow. It took me 50 minutes to pull in with my car and pull out with a rental car (that I paid for). It took about the same amount of time to pick my car back up. Meanwhile, today I picked my wife’s car up at South Tacoma Mazda. I dropped off the (free) loaner car and drove off in my wife’s car in less than 5 minutes (dropping off her car took 10 minutes). Everyone at West Hills Mazda is super nice but for some reason it takes a long time just to pick up/drop off (and paying for a rental for <24 hours on top of $750 dollar maintenance bill just adds to frustration),
