Your staff were very friendly and clearly wanted to help, and I appreciate them working with me to figure out logistics. I multiple times both by phone and in person said that I wanted a Mercury stamped key. It was acknowledged, and several weeks back the person I spoke to by phone even said he would order one in. I was given a Ford stamped key. Also, the price mentioned by phone and in person for the key was $39, but the price charged was $45.

To Whom it may concern, First let me say that the service adjuster Brenda Dunn was very professional and did everything in her power to ensure I received good service at a reasonable cost. However, she was working at a very fast pace, and was multitasking. She explained that ½ the service team was off attending training to explain this fact. I have attended training forums where it was proven beyond a doubt that multitasking creates more problems than it solves, due to inattentiveness on the tasks you are balancing. The results are loss of concentration taking more time overall to accomplish these tasks, with significantly more errors, something to keep in mind. I am extremely disappointed in the results of portions of the service I received. 1) The annual maintenance was performed and everything was checked in the green, except the wiper blades. No verbal report of this was given to me, and I would have expected the technician to replace the wiper blades and add the cost to my bill. Not to worry, I’ll change them myself. 2) The ‘Under Vehicle’ section had muffler/exhaust pipes/mountings/catalytic converter marked with a green check, but I also have an estimate (included in the shop copy, but not supplied to me with the customer copy) to repair a ‘broken bolt in the exhaust manifold’ (for around $1500, this is to take care of the “ticking” noise I hear during idle). Does not make sense to me, but I’ll probably make an appointment to do this work, as I don’t enjoy exhaust manifold work and the photographs supplied do show a bolt head damaged or missing.. 3) Item No. 3 “Customer states that vehicle squeels when backing up” (spelling on receipt) of which I was charged $110 for troubleshooting? and $174.98 for the work). The front and rear brakes were replaced on 5/25/17. I complained on 10/24/17 of this problem, and was told that the squeeling was ‘Normal’. After the $286 service, the brakes squeal as much or more than they did before the ’repair’. 4) Item #4 “Customer states that the vehicle idles very rough/ check and advise”. This is the same complaint I had 8/1/16, 9/6/16,and 4/12/18. Each time I was advised that this was ‘Normal’ for the 3.5 engine. The estimate to repair was $1700+ (total cost ended up $1432.90), and included new parts for the intercooler, re-programming the system, new spark plugs, and fuel induction service. I cannot identify as yet if this has improved the problem. It seems to warm up faster, but still has the same sounds as before, just for a shorter time. I understand that my truck has 55,000 miles on it, and the engine warrantee expired at 50,000, but the complaints I had earlier were not addressed until AFTER the expiration. Coincidental I’m sure.

Absolutely horrible experience, never advised issues with car until I made the call 2 days later. Car was dirty from technicians stepping on door sill, which happened before. Service writer was unapologetic, could not clean it. Asked to return the following day if I wanted it cleaned. Not likely to return.
