We had a series of “trailer connected/trailer disconnected” messages from my new Ford over the last few weeks. A quick google search showed this is a known issue involving moisture collection and that there is even a TSB out on the issue directing the replacement of a harness In the trailer light system to fix the problem. We called and the earliest appointment we could be get was today, over two weeks later. Of course, the message stopped over the last two days with the warm dry weather. After 4 hours at the dealer service center we were told that they ran diagnostics and there isn’t a problem. So now, next time there is some moisture caught in there and the error starts again, we get to go through this entire cycle again instead of following the TSB that we provided and fixing the harness. I very badly want to trade my wife’s Honda in for a new Expedition but there’s no way I will do that if this is how Ford stands behind their product.

Ronnie did a great job but the appointment process left a lot to be desired. I explained that among other things i need the antenna replaced. It was marked on the service order but no replacement had been ordered by the parts department. This then caused me to leave the car an extra day. Could have been avoided. In the end all worked out and again, Ronnie was very helpful and service oriented.
