I had an appt. Friday 1-08-2021 for tire rotation / oil change / windshield wiper replacement front (3) and rear. The main concern for the visit. rear windshield wiper stopped working. During service, I was advised a new motor had to be ordered and installation would be the following day, Sat 1-09-2021. On Friday however after service, I noticed the rear camera view was no longer offering a 100%. I had addressed the issue on Sat appt 1-09-2021. The technician decided to CUT a piece of the tire cover around the camera cut out, thinking that was the issue. WRONG-now my tire cover is damaged. The tech did not remove the tire cover and realign around the camera cut out. I am extremely disappointed, Haselwood Toyota owes me a new tire cover. I was invited to drop by Tuesday 1-12-2021 to work with my Service Writter Patrick Callejo to correct the problem and to my liking. First of all it's not to my liking. My car should leave the dealership after service without damage done by a technician. If the rear camera is not working properly as designed, it becomes a SAFETY issue. FJ Cruisers has a lot of blind spots. I can easily injure a child/adult/or animal from the rear without the camera offering 100% view like it did when I arrived prior to service on Friday 1-08-2021 at the dealership. The tech caused the problem that wasn't present before. I need this reconciled.

Mr. Smitley was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. His service was so outstanding that in the future I will specifically request him to handle all of my service needs for our Toyota and Lexus. We have purchased cars from Heartland and have all of our service completed there, and I can state that without a doubt, Mr. Smitley is head and shoulders above all the other outstanding professionals we have encountered at your dealership.

I’m not frustrated with Chet, but I am a little frustrated with the trouble shooting process. I had an oxygen sensor error and spent over $400 to fix it, only to have to come in next day when another sensor caused the same error. Shouldn’t the mechanic ensure all the sensors work while troubleshooting the original issue? My issue is more saving me extra trips and time. Most likely these sensors are not that simple, but being hit with $400 charges make me ask the question. Chet was great and I should have questioned him more at the time.

Paul went above and beyond, first getting my Avalon software updated during my oil change and when that didn’t correct my issue, Paul setup a second appointment quickly. When a part needed to be ordered, Paul informed me immediately and we worked out a plan to leave the car at the dealership for the repairs. Paul did a great job! Thank you Paul!!!???????????
