The people, service and work performed were fine. The cost was unexpected as it was a significant increase over previous visits. My wife thought she had done something wrong as a result of this. I called after she got home to clarify. It was explained by Doug that there was a charge for oil because the coupon only covered 5 quarts vs the 7 It needed. The coupon states 54.95. The final charge was 73.57. Quite a difference. Previous oil changes at a different dealer in the area were 59.99 with their coupon for 54.95 oil change. It’s really not the amount of money as it’s not that much but rather it’s the idea of expecting one price price and getting charged something different. Just be up front and give the actual price like you say you do with car prices.
The messenger app still does not work properly. The next message I received reverted back again to only allowing me to ignore it. After I got home, I went out later and that is when I received a text that I was unable to read. There must be a loose connection somewhere as every time I turn the car off, the app does not work properly. Jimenez was very nice, but the problem is still not fixed. After almost two years of complaining about it.
I had a major repair that was done very timely and Doug provided a useful added value recommendation.
