we were surprised that the car inspection took an hour,though maybe it was because there are fewer employees right now. Longo is usually more speedy. The people were all nice as usual.

I recently took my other vehicle a 20018 Continental to a Lincoln David McDavid. I just wanted to let you guys know Toyota of Longo is by far superior in comparison. Mr James treated me more like family than just another customer. Bring in the service industry you can tell he's extremely passionate about his work. And for that you will ALWAYS have my business. I was told I had a brake issue [brake pads were worn down and had no brake fluid in reservoir]from outside shop. Brought it in for you all to look at. An express tech looked at it first and said pads were unevenly worn but rotors weren't bad. I explain the truck shakes when braking and how were my pads wearing like that when in January and every other few months I bring it you all only for service. An experienced tech does road test and roads brakes apart and says rotors are warped slightly and rusting but need to replace front rotors machine backs and replace all 4 pads. I'm offered 10% off the service. I explain why is it 5 months before hand and all other times.im told brakes are fine no issues now I owe 600 plus taxes fix something yall said was good 5 months ago. Service manager comes up and tries to justify why it's not your fault. He told me he could take a brand new car amd warp the rotors in 10 mins if he tried and that it happens all the time. His other explanation was that on a hot summer day of driving around like we have if you hit a puddle of water it could warp the rotors. So you mean to tell me all the commuters in DFW in july who are driving around and a famous texas thunderstorm rolls thru is warping rotors. Or even warping half the rotors out there. That is a load crap yes rotors can warp for a million reason but to try and justify it with that explanation shows someone incharge who 1 doesn't have people skills 2 lacks empathy. I understand a dealership trying to justify it's not yalls because the goal is to make money it's a business, but for that man to give me that story as possible reason why in 5 months my brakes went from good to replacing amd I'm only given 10% off that's trash. I called NTB who not only gave me the same price 600 plus tax but also gave me 100 rebate and I've never been to them for any service ever. I bought my truck and drive about 35-40k a year and it's always gone to yall for service minus the oil change why I was out of town and few thousand miles over already this past tuesday. I will finish out my oil services with yall until 100k miles which will he 3 more total and then I will absolutely never return and most definitely never recommended nor buy from you again. I had always said positive things to many about yall and how great it was but the service managers idiotic story of how my brakes possible went bad and offered no additional help was ridiculous to say the least. I guess yall must do alot of new rotors with the hot summer thunderstorms
