At the time of my previous oil change service, i was given a quote for the 30,000 mile service. The price i was given at vehicle check - in on January 22nd exceeded that quote by $540 dollars. Of course i immediately felt i was being taken advantage of. Instead of my requested rental, i was offered a ride or max tickets. And my car was not even washed at the end of the service the way it usually is. When i asked the technician about updating my maps in the vehicle, he told me i had to contact the manufacturer to request one. As a direct representative of the manufacturer, would you not have one or at least offer to contact them on my behalf? So far my least favorite experience overall, at the end of which the technician solicited highest marks for the service provided. It might be company policy, but that made me feel uncomfortable.
