Was estimated 2.5-3 hrs arrived at 930am for my 930am appointment. Didn’t get checked in until 945 and my car was brought out at 215pm. Advisor communicated minimally until I went to inquire about vehicle status. Paid for package with multiple point inspection did not receive a vehicle inspection report nor do I have report of any fluids that were topped off. Considering my vehicle was there for almost 5 hrs i don’t feel my vehicle was properly serviced and I’m incredibly disappointed considering half of my day was spent there.
I had a very frustrating experience at Downey Hyundai while getting my car serviced. The customer service I received was unprofessional and misleading.
First, I had to wait extra time for my shuttle ride because the employee gave the driver incorrect information. That alone caused unnecessary delays and set the tone for the visit.
Later, I requested a car wash and was told I would be called when my car was ready. When I received the call and returned to the dealership, I was told my car was still being washed. This turned out to be untrue. After I questioned it, the employee checked again and admitted the car hadn’t even started being washed yet, then said it was “next.”
At that point, I was extremely bothered and asked for my car back without the wash. What made the situation worse was that there was no apology or accountability for the confusion and wasted time.
Overall, this was a disappointing experience with poor communication and lack of professionalism. I expect much better customer service from a dealership.

Service was pretty prompt and coffee and snacks were great ???? They also put my license plates on as a courtesy ????
The service was not performed to an acceptable standard. The back seats of my car were dirty, and the area around the handbrake and keys was also unclean. I also requested that the car be cleaned from outside, but the job was not done thoroughly, as there was still a significant amount of dirt remaining afterward.
Overall, I am not satisfied with the service. I leased this car six months ago specifically to avoid these kinds of issues, so this experience is particularly disappointing.

Jose is a good dude. All your workers are awesome. Especially the ladies at the rental car place and the lady who helps move cars in your driveway.
I’m just frustrated that this is the third time with this same problem. I don’t know whether it’s the mechanics or the car. I’ll know better once it’s fixed.
Mayra was very rude and unprofessional seemed like she didn’t like her job so rude and disrespectful. James who said that he was a manager was very aggressive with my wife on the phone yelling at her disrespectfully when I asked to speak to his boss he said he was the boss and nobody was above him and hung the phone up on my wife I tried calling him and he would not return my phone call deeply regret spending money and giving this dealership our money. I highly don’t recommend this place to anybody. I’m sure nothing will be addressed with these two individuals because their actions definitely proved that this is the way Downey Hyundai has been treating their customers.

Service was done as promised
All of the employees were courteous and pleasant, which I truly appreciated. However, I did have to wait over 40 minutes to receive my vehicle because it couldn’t be located. While the staff remained professional throughout, the delay made me late to other commitments I had.
Took a while for them to get to me since short staffed. An oil change took more than 2 hrs. I made an appointment for a recall the following week. I get to that appointment and they need a part for the recall that was never ordered or told me I needed a part. The day of the recall 4/22 also took a long time for someone to help me due to short staff again. I was not able to get recall done and on the way home my engine over heated. I’ve never had that happen to me. When I called about it I was put on hold and then went back and forth trying to set an appointment. **** the phone did not make an engineer over heating seem like a big deal and offered an appointment 3 days from day it happened
