Service good but for having a 7 a.m. appointment for a regular 6 mo service and display recall fix that should have been fairly short, my wait was way too long. Dissatisfied with that.
Please give Greg Mann a raise, ASAP.

Subject: Formal Complaint & Rejection of Estimate — RO# 1108538 — 2025 Toyota Corolla (VIN: 5YFB4MDE9SP286062)
To the Service Manager,
I am writing to formally reject the repair estimate of $850.12 listed under Repair Order #1108538, and to dispute the diagnosis regarding the instrument cluster on my 2025 Toyota Corolla (Odometer: 21,148 miles).
The service department's notes state: "Combination meter assembly replacement due to glass being damaged from chemicals." I categorically deny that this issue was caused by any external chemicals, detailing liquids, or actions on my part.
As clearly shown in the attached file image.png—and physically visible on the vehicle—the white, unyielding circular spots are located entirely on the inside surface of the clear lens, trapped within the sealed combination meter assembly.
I am disputing this charge based on the following undeniable facts:
Inaccessibility: The exterior face of the plastic lens is completely smooth, clean, and entirely free of damage or residue. It is physically impossible for an external chemical spray or splash to migrate behind a properly factory-sealed lens assembly during normal vehicle operation or cabin cleaning.
Component Quality Issue: The specific pattern of uniform circular spotting localized to the upper internal housing points directly to an environmental sealing failure, trapped factory moisture, or chemical outgassing/degradation of the internal polycarbonate plastic components.
Warranty Coverage: This vehicle is a 2025 model with only 21,148 miles and is fully covered under the Toyota New Vehicle Limited Warranty. A failure of internal dashboard materials or a defective factory seal is a manufacturing quality issue, not user damage.
I demand that this issue be appropriately escalated to Toyota Corporate as a New Vehicle Warranty claim and that the combination meter assembly be replaced at zero cost to me. I will not authorize or pay for a factory material defect.
I look forward to your prompt response, a revised internal inspection by a shop foreman, and the rectification of this estimate.
Sincerely,
Tatiana V

Nick was very helpful. Nick went the extra mile & answered all my questions. He also made sure I had a rental vehicle to drive while the engine was being replaced. I will recommend Bob Tyler to all my many friends.
There is an electronic issue with this vehicle. The first engagement did not result in it being rectified. The second engagement, less than two weeks later, was strange. The claim was made that the vehicle was in a collision and the repair was inadequate. The vehicle has never been in a collision and therefore never repaired. So then the claim was made that it had been in a collision hard enough to affect the sensors, with a recommendation to spend $450 or so to investigate. Instead I brought the vehicle to a collision center who verified that there has been no collision. There are no dents, no scratches and no component out of place.
Very helpful and professional
