I understand completely that maintenance takes time and patience however 6 hours is a bit overboard! When I questioned the amount of time I was told things just take time however a 2-3 process should not take 6.

I am told after my service is complete and I’m checking out that by not doing a few service recommendations that my warranty could be not honored because of it. And when I ask was my #Warranty in any danger, I was told that he would have to go through my service history to find out. He made no attempt to look at it or tell me he would look at it and get back to me. So I will be calling the service department tomorrow to find out about my cars warranty. If you’re gonna make statements like this, I think the service agent should have all the information.

My tire pressure monitoring sensors were not replaced as discussed. The employee who initially set up my service indicated that this could be completed the same day; however, only an oil change was performed per my maintenance contract. I was never consulted about replacing the tire pressure monitors, which I would have agreed to without hesitation. I was informed that cold weather caused the tire pressure to read too low and that the tires were inflated, despite them already being at 37 PSI, which exceeds the manufacturer’s recommended pressure. Additionally, while driving home after retrieving my vehicle, the tire pressure monitoring system malfunctioned again.
I went to this Toyota service center for routine maintenance only (oil and filter change).
The car was running perfectly fine before the service, with no warning lights and no issues at all.
The very next day, the check engine light came on.
When I returned, I was suddenly told there was a “cylinder #2 leak,” which is something that was never present before the service.
What is more concerning is that the invoice states that I refused to proceed with the diagnostic test, which is not accurate.
The test was not clearly explained to me, and I was not given a fair opportunity to make an informed decision, yet it was documented as a refusal.
The timing of this issue — appearing less than 24 hours after routine maintenance — raises serious concerns.
I will be getting an independent inspection from a neutral mechanic, and I will be filing a formal complaint with Toyota USA to review what happened and how the invoice was documented.
I expected much more transparency and professionalism from an authorized Toyota dealer.
