Took my car in for service, the service writer said it needed a new transmission and would get with the warranty company. I called 3 days later for an update and he said they are waiting on the warranty company to approve. I call 2 days later and still same answer so I called the warranty company and find out no claim was submitted. Finally the service manager gets involved but still no progress. They needed pictures of the transmission and fluid sample then pictures of the whole car. So after that another week goes by and still nothing. I call the warranty company again and was told they were waiting on the service department to contact them and it would be approved and the warranty company was waiting for several days for the call back. Horrible service department, lack of communication, and lack of integrity. I refuse to ever do business in any way possible. I was looking into buying another car but with how the service department operates I wouldn't purchase anything just because of my experience. Lots of customer service retraining, and maybe on other platforms like time management, communication, integrity, and following up with the warranty company a lot more.

Made an appointment for 3:30 but it still took an hour and a half before they were done. It was just an oil change.

Arrived to my appointment on time and the part that came in for my vehicle was damaged and was told most likely they wouldn’t have enough time to complete the job either way. So was a complete waste of time coming in. Would have appreciated a phone call ahead of time so I didn’t have to spend 2 hours of my time driving back and forth and waiting in the service area for nothing. Not happy with Kia country..
