I can understand why this location has so many negative reviews. I brought my car in for an oil change for the first time and unfortunately the overall experience was disappointing. From the start, the customer service felt lacking. Nelson (the service advisor) and the person at the Toyota merchandise counter, came across as unfriendly and disengaged. When I mentioned it was my first visit, Nelson seemed annoyed that I wasn’t already in the system and had to input my information. I also asked about shuttle or rideshare options and his response felt dismissive, he simply said they don’t offer that. At other Toyota dealerships I’ve visited, amenities like a complimentary car wash are standard but that wasn’t offered here either. Additionally, the oil change took about 2.5 hours which felt excessive for such a routine service. My main concern is the overall attitude and level of customer service, which made the experience frustrating. The only positive note was the young employee who brought my car out. He was genuinely kind and courteous.

Nelson stated they are not to busy & I waited 2 1/2 hours & he told me usually the wait time is 2 hours. If I did not asked probably I waited longer when I told him I will make a comment about this he told me go ahead. I did not like his attitude at all poor customer service.

Jason did a fantastic job and my car was completed faster than originally stated. A shout out to Emilio my regular consultant. Too bad the NEW ownership doesn’t value older experienced employees. No family atmosphere here any longer. Too bad. I guess money is more important to the new ownership

Mr Gallegos was very professional he answered questions and explained with service knowledge.I DO feel Toyota of Alhambra charges way too much for a brake and transmission fluid change on a car that is working well and has met ALL 5000 mile Service check up appointments since 2019.

Extremely disappointed with the service department. I’ve been a loyal customer since 2005, but the quality has clearly gone downhill under new ownership. My service advisor never returned my calls about multiple issues with my 2019 Toyota Highlander, yet sent me a bill for over $2,900 with no explanation or prior approval. That’s completely unacceptable. There’s a serious lack of communication, transparency, and attention to detail. It feels rushed, and I no longer trust that vehicles are being properly inspected or that customers are being informed about necessary repairs. This is not the level of service long-time customers should expect.
