Tim McCarthy allows takes care of all our needs. I came in for a recall and everything was fine until we went out to the front lot to pickup our 2020 Santa Fe. The plug that runs from my trailer hitch to trailer for lights was hanging down and not plugged into my trailer hitch brake light cap, so I had to kneel down to plug it in and make sure my extra brake light worked. The pins on both connections were end a little to the side so I bent them straight…hopefully everything is alright with the plug.

To correct 3 recalls you should have had the parts on hand when I brought the car into the shop, instead it took 9 days to get my car back. You did give me a rental so the warranty convenience was moderate at worst but shows poor planning on your part. Thank you

There was a breakdown in communication regarding the timing of my service. When I scheduled the appointment, I was under the impression that service would be complete by EOD same day, but in actuality the car needed to be left overnight. It was never explicitly stated to me that the car would need to be left overnight until it had been at the dealership for over 5 hours, and after I followed up. There were three opportunities for Suntrup to make this clear, but failed to do so all three times: When I booked the appointment, when I checked in, and when I received the follow up text after check in. In fact, the follow up text stated “We will be following up shortly with an update regarding your MultiPoint Inspection results” which further implied that work was soon to be underway, but work wasn’t even going to begin until the following day. Granted, I could have asked earlier on in the process for precise clarification regarding the timing of the service, but that’s putting the **** on then customer when clearly laying out timeline expectations should be a routine part of the business’s customer service. I was not able to leave the car overnight and wound up wasting a day with zero services performed on the car. I’ve been coming to Suntrup for 6 years, but after this experience, I’ll be going elsewhere for all future car related services or purchases. There’s no need to follow up as I won’t be coming back. Thanks.

Ok, my car was spotless, when i dropped it off for service, when I finally picked it up, there was what I believe to be salt all over my console, in the cup holders around the shifter boot and option buttons. Completely unacceptable

Tim always goes above and beyond. He checks for recalls and remembers if it's time for certain maintenance if you forget. He's never pushy or tries to sell you anything. Very easy to talk to and is always honest. He is the reason I keep coming back.

Kayley Dixson was FANTASTIC and very helpful i came in for an emission test only, but she checked to see if I also needed to get an inspection too, and I needed both which saved me from having any problems when I go to get my license tags!!!
