We have loved our Genesis GV70 with one exception. The Door Trim. We have had this at the dealership on several occasions to be replaced. 1/18/2024, 5/25/2023, 2/1/2023, 11/3/2022. These were obviously replaced or repaired with the same defective components. We understand there is a Genesis Bulletin on this, with hundreds of complaints. We asked about it while in for service on 3/7/2025 and was told for us to call and handle it through Genesis. As a owner of a few Luxury Cars I believe that was the first time I was given instructions to handle a issue with the Auto Company versus the Service Department being the advocate for the owner. We also noticed over the weekend that the Passenger Lower Under Body Splash Sheild was damaged. All the pins and clips were not fastened and the tire wore the Sheld. This must have happen when we had issues with the AC not blowing cold air 12/14/2023 and 3/22/2024. Only Genesis has worked on or maintained the vehicle. We have had the tires rotated on several Maintenace trips and this should have been addressed. When you invest in a vehicle you the Dealership should have pride to ensure that the owner is able to get the most out of their vehicle when it is time to upgrade of trade in. To ignore and overlook the damage that was created by the Dealership is inexcusable. The Trim has been an ongoing issue; this is evident with the Bulletin and the complaints. It was the second attempt to fix the deep gouge on the front of my car. Fixing it to my complete satisfaction was a condition of buying. It seems that a traveling paint/touchup man who is only in town once a week may not create the best outcome. I’m not angry, I’ve said nothing to anyone in my circle about the experience, I am disappointed.

Robert has been incredibly helpful with managing my genesis services. The first two times, he arranged for a driver to pick up my car, handle the service and return it making the whole process effortless for me.
