Well, I wasted a day because someone online set up an appointment thru text and email, Then only to show up to my appointment and find that no one had a clue what I was talking about. The in office customer service was great, but for no one to take any responsibility,and to kinda make me feel like it was my fault, was bs. It's nice to get fit into a different appointment, but I hope this was a one time incident.
She was prompt, kind and explained everything well. My only complaint is that she called me "hon." I think that is patronizing and am turned off by it. Unfortunately, it is pervasive in the service industry. Please do your part to make it stop.

My oil change was at 3pm. When I arrived I was told they were backed up an hour. Considering the long delay a call would have been nice giving me the option to reschedule. Mark Motors made it right by allowing me to use a truck to do some shopping which was appreciated. A special thanks to Eldon and the service department for allowing me to purchase a wire harness for my light that wasn’t in stock and just gave me one out of the glove box of a new Tacoma. This saved me a trip back from Rapids.

Several things were not to the normal standard of Mark Toyota. My glove box would not shut. I had to remove it and reinstall it, as it was misaligned when put back in place after what I have to assume was a cabin air filter check. The old sticker on my windshield for the previous oil change reminder was not removed. Several features like my backup sensor warning and PCS were disabled. Guessing this occurred when the technician was trying to reset the oil life/scheduled maintenance. Guessing the technician was new? These are not complaints, just more for awareness training.
When I parked in the garage, I thought I was about to be greeted and instructed as per usual by the woman walking out towards my vehicle. Instead, she turned away from me and walked to another vehicle. I stood waiting awkwardly for several moments before I picked a door to walk in. No smile, no hello, no instruction on which door to enter, no letting me know she would be right back and just give her one minute to finish a different task. Just ignored.

There was a long wait time today. My appointment was at 2:30 and my vehicle was not taken in for service until about 3:30. This is the first time this has happened and it was explained to me that some unexpected punctured tires had to be fixed on two other vehicles. I was able to wait until my auto was serviced, no problem.
