During the recall service, after being informed my vehicle was ready for pickup, the service attendant gave me my vehicle but after driving for less and 30 seconds, it was abundantly obvious that there was an issue with the left turn signal camera that was clear and obvious and should’ve been caught during the servicing and of the vehicle before delivering it to the customer. Additionally, the vehicle windows were rolled down during the handoff to me and there were multiple brightly colored and obvious stickers placed over the window switches to indicate that the windows should not be rolled down due to window tinting that had recently applied. Despite the very clear and blatantly obvious tactile and visible warning, the service attendant still rolled the windows down. I am upset that the very clear and visible warning the vehicle displayed that there were errors present on the vehicle instrument cluster, the service technician and attendants either ignored or were too inept to acknowledge the errors before proceeding to pass the vehicle off as safe to operate.

I was welcomed and greeted in a timely manner. Technician knew who I was and why I was there. Gentleman working on my Genesis GV80 came inside and gave details of the work being done. I really appreciate how comfortable they make you feel in the process. THANK YOU!!

Excellent service! All requested issues were thoroughly checked and repaired & the work was completed way before the time promised. There were no unexpected problems or issues with the car. Bryan & his team were extremely professional, very friendly & listened patiently to my questions & concerns, explaining everything clearly. This was my 1st visit to Selma & I will highly recommend Bryan & his team to anyone needing service. Also, because I was so happy with the quality of service I received, I decided to speak to your sales dept after I picked up my car, & will shortly purchase my next Hyundai at Selma. I can’t thank everyone enough for the kind treatment & excellent service I received today.

Spent almost 5 hours for a recall that was not able to be completed because of software issues. My car has not had problems but waiting for Genesis to figure it out.

Greeted with respect and in a timely manner. Diagnosed the issue, found it was covered by warranty then ordered the part. Will notify me when the part arrives and repair can be completed.

Coming on for service ( oil change) maybe offer customers a car wash and vacuum we spend a lot of money buying a car a little ride and shine lifts the spirits ????????

Service advisor was average. I was promised a loaner car but the night before around 5 pm I was notified they had no loaners. I decide to bring my car anyway. I was expecting they would diagnosis the warranty problems and I would be able to return my car later for parts to be installed. Instead I was told that one of the issues was too critical for me to drive the car back to Bakersfield so I had to leave it. I ask again for a loaner but was told that there were none. I was informed there was an Enterprise Rental across the street. Since I live in Bakersfield I had to rent a car to get home. I told the service advisor that if a loaner became available I would drive back up to get figuring the loaner that I was promised should be available the following day. That didn’t happen. Parts came in on Monday and I checked on Monday about timing and if a loaner was available. No loaner but I was that the parts should be installed by Tuesday afternoon but that didn’t happen. To make a long story short my car wasn’t done until Thursday and I’m out $350 for the rental car. Obviously this was not a positive service situation. Excuses for the delays were attributed to having to pull the mechanic off of my car to help work on other cars. Poor service.

Check-in was great and timely; I was told oil change and car wash (in/out would be 1.5 hrs. However, due to short-staffing, the total time was 4.5 hrs! The advisor told me about the staffing situation at the 3 hr mark, at which time I had to cancel my Fresno appts as I thought the service would be around 1.5-2 hrs like the other service appts. Had I known it would be 3x the norm then I would’ve rescheduled for another date. The advisor was apologetic but I feel like the lack of communication from the Genesis side has been subpar, along with poor lounge, no Genesis service closure notification to customers and inability to keep service records updated for the app.
