The warranty I bought when buying the car from Shorkey on Mcknight Rd is becoming too difficult to get work completed… I was told work needed to be done at Shorkey in Gibsonia and their first opening isn’t for a week. So far am very unsatisfied with the assurant warranty that I purchased with this car and the service related to it.
The actual service person, Samantha, was very friendly but the solution offered was in no way convenient for me. I am hoping I am not starting over completely with Shorkey Gibsonia…. She wrote

A little surprised with the response I received regarding a concern with a “ stop sign “ notification on my dash when there was no stop sign. The explanation I received when car was completed was “ the car was made that way others are complaining about the same , it’s just how it was made “

Dave has taken care of me many times through the years I have been a customer. He always has a smile on his face and gets me taken care of quickly. Outstanding service as always????
I’m still upset that my car is rusting in vital places, so how could I be completely satisfied with my service experience?
However, I must commend Dave, the service representative, who was quite patient and understanding while delivering the bad news.

I like the idea of the service department keeping an eye on any recalls. The car we had, had an open recall on it. It was taken care of today

Arrogant and dismissive, because I declined the suggested 4 wheel drive line fluid service.
The ridiculous amount of time I waited for my display screen to be looked at because Toyota was too busy doing a multi point inspection that I never asked for and in the end they didn’t even fix the problem . Something they would have known from the beginning if they would’ve checked that first instead of doing 2 1/2 hours of unnecessary things that I never asked for. Now I have to come back and drop my car off for them to actually fix the problem. A complete waste of three hours of my time that I didn’t have to begin with. Terrible service
Josh was cool. And gave excellent customer service.
Every time I get my car serviced, I’m always satisfied.
Keep up the good work team Shorkey!
So far so good, great to see Toyota step up and admit there was a problem with these motors.
