I’m very happy that my car is fixed. I’m glad it was a very simple problem to fix ( reinserting the oil dip stick. The car seems to be driving normally now.
I brought my car in first thing Tuesday morning, i arrived before 7:00. I had a 7:45 appointment. It appears to me that my car was not looked at until Thursday morning. Two full days after my appointment. It seems to me that the problem with my car was very easy to fix and it should hav been addressed the same day of my appointment. I was the first car in the door the day of my appointment on Tuesday.
My perception may be incorrect, but it appears that my car was not looked at for two full days after my appointment.
I’m very happy that my car now appears to be function correctly, but why did it take so long for my car to be car to be looked at and a loose oil dip stick to be found.
I am an also very pleased that the sales department was able to to find a loaner for me to drive when the service department said all the service loaners were booked for the next three weeks.
I am very pleased with the outcome of my service needs but I’m disappointed with the time it took to address my needs especially when I had an appointment.
The repair was great. But I got the text about the inspection and other needed repairs about 15 minutes after the text about the vehicle being ready to pick up. I was already on my way to get the car, but it would have been convenient to have the other work done today.
My quote to replace the driver lock cylinder was 1700 dollars. My car is likely not even valued at that much nor does that seem even close to a reasonable price for the repair for the lock cylinder and plastic cover.
