Our issue is that someone got into the vehicle without the seats being covered and stained the driver’s seat which is light colored.

I have a very unpredictable work schedule. It is almost impossible for me to make an appointment, so I drive in without one. Most of the time I get right in and wait an hour but not much more than that. Indeed, usually I am told when I arrive what kind of wait I will experience. Three times last week I came by but the store was covered over. No problem. I can’t make an appointment, so I appreciate being told the wait time I’m facing.
Yesterday I brought my car in an was told I was looking at an hour to an hour and a half.
No problem.
After 2.5 hours with no one coming by to check on me I asked Garett about my car. He apologized and went to the back. When he returned he told me I had 25-30 min left. And then he went to lunch.
Almost an hour later I saw my car parked, finished up and ready for me to drive home.
I waited ten minutes and went to the area where you pay and asked if I could pay for it. I was at this point more than three hours in the building. She said I can get up and go find someone to help you.
Clearly she didn’t want to do it.
So when I said I don’t want to be a bother, she smiled and accepted that and I waited an extra ten minutes, which isn’t long but adds insult to injury.
I bought this car at Serra in Birmingham. I often have said I wish I had given Tuscaloosa Toyota my business, but Tuscaloosa Toyota has worked on my car exclusively since Jan. 2022. Every oil change. Two sets of tires. Everything.
But no more.
I absolutely understand I take the risk coming in without an appointment. I get that.
That’s why I ask what wait time I’m against, and usually I’m given the answer without having to ask.
This has left more than a sour taste in my mouth. I feel like my time and my business wasn’t worth enough to your advisor to give me some sort of honest time frame regarding my oil change and tire rotation.
You lost me as a customer
The actual work performed was fine no problem with the people I dealt with but I am dissatisfied with having an appointment and it getting discarded because I choose to drop it off . This is not a one time occurrence I make an appointment that works with my schedule .As a customer I would expect it to be honored. You can look at my history I have spent a good amount on multiple vehicles over the years
I hope in the future appointments will be a priority for Tuscaloosa Toyota

The service department assistant manager Brandon, went above and beyond the call of duty. He made sure that I knew and understood everything that was done to my vehicle while in Tuscaloosa Toyota’s care. He explained why my battery fail the inspection test and offered remedies on how I can get it resolved. I was very pleased with the service I received at Tuscaloosa Toyota. The entire staff is always friendly and helpful, but on Feb. 3, 2025 I felt really special.

Appointment was at 10:30 and it took 3 1/2 hours to complete my service!! This is entirely too long to wait! Disappointed that it took that long for a tire rotation and balance. Tire repair also.
