Here my honest concerns coming from a german automotive engineer, maybe my expectations are higher than average, maybe i am spoiled from other countries; but i do care about details and know about cars amd maintenance myself quite a bit. Waiting for 1:45 hrs at a scheduled appointment for „just“ the oil change in the end. The issue with having the car going back to default setting regularly, which was explained at the time of scheduling the appointment was just acknowledged by un-wiring the battery for a period (no software update available) and that i can contact toyota myself - which i did several times through the service hotline and the connected-services hotline, both referring to my local dealership. The mechanic that supposed to fix the loosened shift knob screwed it back on one rotation too much which causing the emblem-plate to be pushed up and be mis-aligned. I have concerns this will come off in the future. This car is very unique and not a stock corolla, i expect specialized knowledge for people working on it. As all parts are rare and expensive. Also have to mention that from the day i picked up the car , you keep putting small signs with numbers on the dash to relate the car to a certain process. That causes tiny little scratches to the (non foam) dash. Not major but visible. I know i am picky here, but this is something, if you know it, you will see it everyday while driving and you think that this could have been avoided if people just would care a bit more. So overall, i would not want to bring my vehicle over again at this point. I will try contact the service provider from yesterday myself now, as when i called about the issue with the shift knob after realizing it it was already 6:00 pm and they had left.
