I didn't agreed to the service that was done to my car.And I really didn't have the extra money I end up having to use my credit card that I just had paid off I was very dissatisfied on yesterdayI shouldn't even have to pay for service that I didn't agreed to.(Reimbursement)Please!!!!

Good afternoon, First I want to start off by saying that I appreciate the friendliness and customer service that I have received from Chad and others in the service department at each visit that I have had since purchasing my 4Runner. I brought it in recently because of 2 odd sounds that I had been hearing for a while now. I know that may seem silly and inconsequential to most, especially those who work on vehicles regularly but to me considering how much I paid for my vehicle I take care of it to the best of my ability, including unknown and annoying sounds. After picking it up today, my dad who just got back into town wanted to look at it after hearing about how it’s basically been at the shop the past 2 days. When I showed him the paperwork on what was done and then looked at the work he, as was I, was very skeptical on how an entire mudflap could be removed to put in insulation without the screws or clips appearing to have been touched at all (mud and dirt still on both). Then when looking at the wheel well flap that was put back on after today’s visit, the ‘new’ clips were just as loose, if not looser, than the ones that were holding it in place when I originally brought it in. Not only that, but the top clip which was completely different from the others and appears to be the only new one, was so loose it came off in my hand. Though I might not know all the ins and outs of the mechanics on my car, I grew up in a shop listening and watching people work on equipment so I do know a little bit. I also know my vehicle and when things are different. I am not sure if because of what I was bringing it in for (‘weird sounds’) if everything just wasn’t taken as seriously and things were done just to appease me or if this was the best solution that could be determined, though I find that hard to believe. I am not trying to accuse anyone of not doing the work that was said was done nor am I trying to be that difficult person that no one wants to work with. But, I am pretty disappointed in the fact that I still have the same issue that I entrusted my car with y'all for. I appreciate not being charged after the initial appointment especially considering it’s still not fixed. The fact that I wasn’t charged for parts at the very least adds to my skepticism that some of what was said was done wasn’t actually done. I fully intended on paying for work done/parts used especially if it meant the issue was fixed and because I am not trying to scam anyone out of anything. Up until this point I have bragged about the great service that I have received from you guys. Not only the service but the practicality of charges for parts, work, and service given at previous appointments. I will be fixing the wheel well issue myself. Because my car is under warranty, I will continue to bring it there to be serviced, this isn’t my first rodeo with owning a car and dealing with service departments. I am not sure though how much I will feel that I can fully trust in future appointments what is being told to me as I had previously which is very disappointing. As I said, what I brought my car in for may seem silly but its still fairly new and I paid way to much for it to just ignore things even if they are small. I am not looking to get anyone in trouble or cause problems because as I said I’ve worked with Chad numerous times now and he is always personable and very willing to work with me. But it is also very important along with person ability that you can trust and take someone at their word. And after this experience it almost feels like I was appeased to a point and then sent along. I hope that isn’t the case but I’m just not sure.
