Got a whole list of things that were suggested. Came in for an oil change and got a list of things costing approximately $1400. Most of which are not needed or necessary. If they are routinely needed, the tasks were excessively priced.

I was under the impression that it was time for my oil change because the light came on that it was time for maintenance but it wasn’t. Had I known I would have waited until 10,000 miles as the maintenance guide states. I was charged $101 for them to top off fluids and inspections. I can not afford to come in again at 5,000 more miles for them to do the same maintenance plus the oil change.

At the onset of my visit to Toyota of Gastonia, KC was professional and friendly. He recommended that I replace a filter and alignment needed asap. I listened to his suggestion and had the matter taken care of because I really like my RAV4.

Service recommendations were recommended at the mileage prior to purchase of the car which should’ve been completed before it was sold. Was told also that the usb port replacement would be covered under warranty and then was told that it isn’t. I come in for a tire balance and rotate to get told I needed over 700$ worth of work done to the vehicle and all this could’ve been mitigated if it was taken care of before I purchased the vehicle like it was supposed to.
