Do not do work on a vehicle that you have not been asked to do. I had requested only two things to be done, recall for front bumper and oil & filter change and nothing else. When my vehicle was ready that is when I found out that my tires were rotated and I did not ask for them to be rotated. I was not charged due to it was under warranty but that is beside the point. If I wanted them to be rotated I would have asked. I have my tires rotated at a different place.

This is my second truck from Gastonia Toyota. This service visit was much better than in the past. About a year and a half ago this dealership started pressuring customers for up-sale items. They would text you with a list of not needed, and not Toyota recommendations on regular service up-sale items. That in many cases could be anywhere between $800-$1200. I had already decided if they were going to continue that, I was going to seek out another dealer for service. My wife and I have bought 5 vehicles between this Toyota and its Nextdoor sister Mazda dealer. And paid cash for them all I mite add. I don’t play the up-sale game.
