Price seemed high compared to other options, but I did not have the time or ability to explore other options. I haven’t been charged a diagnostic fee before when the dealership made the repair. The part was 250% more than options in St. Louis and there was no labor itemization provided on the bill. In previous experiences at other dealerships, there would have been an explanation on why an 8 inch tube on the side of the engine costs 1000 dollars to install. Plus, they would’ve vacuumed the truck out, washed it, and offered a shuttle ride to get it.
She is very personable and cared that our needs were met. Her attitude reflects the kind of experience that I have had since first going to Pettus.

The service , especially Lizzy was very nice and easy , she was very pleasant and I had no problems with any of the staff . However my safety inspection failed after my father just had a safety inspection 5 months ago and passed and nothing has happened with the truck since then . I was quoted $1700 worth of repairs whenever it's an old truck with almost 300,000 miles on it so it's not worth putting $1700 into it and I'm in need of a vehicle really bad for myself and my children which is why my dad was gifting me with his old truck . Neither of us has that kind of money . It was the right ball joint and the left ball joint and a sway bar . I was so discouraged by the cost I was quoted so I went somewhere else to have another inspection . Again it failed but only for the right and left ball joint and a $1000 less than your dealership . Thank goodness I went somewhere else and got another opinion . For $700 including the labor I was able to get my truck to pass and get my truck plates the next day . Your price didn't even include the labor and I also would have waited days for the parts to come and for your guys to fix it . I think your prices or being that thorough or picky picking apart an old vehicle looking for whatever you can make money on needs to be checked into because that was absolutely ridiculous . Again I was happy with your staff ( Lizzy) as I know she does not make the prices but I don't think I will be coming for another inspection at that location ever again and now I know why I was able to get in so fast when everyone else is two weeks out on appointments. Just saying that's why I cannot say I was completely satisfied with your service .
