I called San Bruno Genesis to service my car. An automated voice gave me an appointment for Nov. 19th at 10am. When I went there on that day, I was met by Lawrence Lee. He said he did not see my appointment on the system but will gladly service my car. He was very friendly and I am much appreciated that he managed to service it so that I will not waste my time /trip to get there.

This was a difficult process from the beginning. Multiple phone calls and voice mails to the service dept with no answer. After 2 days I called the sales dept and got one of the sales people to commit to walking over to the service dept and personally ask someone to call me back. Nothing happened on my end. I did it again the next day and the Sales manager Kevin reached out to me personally. He promised that Maria would call me. Which she did. Maria was extremely professional very helpful. This is where whole experienced changed for the better. My car was serviced for the oil change and a recall issue. However, I made a request for someone to look at a piece of fabric that was peeling off of the inside of the driver side door. This was added to the service order but nothing was done. Apart from Maria and Kevin my experience was very poor. Genesis has a long way to go to be on par with Lexus and others.
