I originally came Friday (2/21/25) morning when the service department opened. Unfortunately Danny (I think he’s the service manager) told me they wouldn’t be able to assist me that day but gave me options. Danny exemplified great customer service. Even on the day I returned (2/24/25).
Liz was and always seems to be exceptional. That’s my girl! I love how she explains options and or address concerns during the check in and picking up process. I was also happy to see a familiar face at the dealership. That’s very important to the customers. It makes us customers feel more comfortable in trusting the department with our vehicles. Elizabeth always seem to be running around and working hard.
This last visit I noticed how Danny interacted with different customers. He was very polite and pleasant to everyone even though it was busy. And Elizabeth came in and assisted myself and another gentleman that had been there before all the other customers. Danny wasn’t available at the time to assist us so she stepped in. Another representative (that was there before Liz) just had us sitting there until Danny was available. But that representative was kind enough to let me wait inside the building for Danny.

I appreciated Elizabeth's service but it was frustrating waiting for a long time for my car's service. I kept getting texts saying I did not show up for my appointment, even though I dropped off my car. The service button was never reset for my car, either.

CHECK ENGINE WARNING LIGHT IS BACK ON !!!!!!!!! This was a complete waste of time !!!! My wife Barbara Hassid wants to buy an Ionic 6 immediately but I am againstvany more purchases of HYUNDAI — YOUR SERVICE DEPARTMENT IS BEYOND DEPLORABLE — CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS BACK ON !!!!! Any suggestions about how to ameliorate the situation because we don’t want this Hyundai — you can have it back
Because the service department was short-handed on the day of my appointment, I was offered the opportunity to reschedule. It seems that offer would have been a more practical solution if made by phone/text prior to me diving to the dealership for an 11:00 am appointment.
Daniel was a consummate professional. He helped ensure that my car maintenance and recall were done in a timely manner. He communicated with me throughout the day about updates. The quality of his service is why I will be calling Hyundai San Bruno as the place to take my car for maintenance in the future.
Danny was fantastic and I would come back over and over because of him and to work with him again. He was considerate, friendly understanding, knowledgeable, and made me feel valued and well taken care of. Thank you so much Danny.
I arrived early and was helped exactly at the time of my appointment, the staff handled the heavy appointment load very well. Car was ready when promised, communication was excellent (over text) and car was returned clean and vacuumed. Very good!
Danny went above and beyond to ensure my vehicle was ready and I did not need to return with a baby on the way!
He got my part in earlier than I expected after my car being at the service for over a month waiting. Thanks Lawrence and Doug!
The organization is so poor. I barely take the car there when it's free and won't be returning when it's not
