Very poor customer service experience, waited 25 mins, just pick up my car, after service writer asked me to pick up at 11am instead of coming at 8:00, which very busy. I watched service talk on the phone while I sat there. It was only after I had to approach him till, forcing him to acknowledge I was there. He asked me “what’s wrong”. He didn’t even know how unimportant he made me feel. He didn’t even apologize for the wait, only to explain “we were very busy with other people. Instead of making that phone call first, he could have walked over to me and state that it would take so and so more minutes, and I would have been fine with that. What burns me up is that he didn’t even think about how I was feeling. I’m writing this review to assist you in making future experiences better. Train in managing expectations. I understand that times can get busy, but it is still up to you to make or break the time you have to provide excellence or not.

Sherry was great. I wish someone had told me last time about the 11:00 appointment. I got there before 11:00 . The car then sat over 2 hours since everyone goes to lunch 12-1pm. They also washed and vacuumed but I guess the cargo space doesn’t count for vacuuming. There are settings in the small window in front of the steering wheel where I normally see the speed that I am driving. I wish they would have set that back. I have no idea how to do it but I’ll try and figure it out so that I don’t have to drive it back to San Bruno. Sherry however was very accommodating

I had to escalate the event to the manager. manager, and they worked towards resolving it so overall I wanna think Hyundai San Bruno for listening to my issues.

Daniel was helpful and generally satisfactory. but it took far too long to check me in for my appointment (an hour after it was scheduled) and then 5.5 hours for routine maintenance check and oil change.

Chaotic from trying to drop the car off. Took 40 minutes to connect with an advisor. The service waiting room is disorganized. Sign in with bad pens, confusing sign in sheets. Employees complaining about everything.

Daniel is a really nice guy and very professional. He clearly has a hard job, Ioniq 5's were being towed into the service center while I was there and there were a lot of unhappy people (of course, not Danny's fault at all). He was juggling a lot and stayed calm and gracious. Our previous services in San Bruno have been appalling experiences and this was our last chance for the service department. We have a lease car and, while we love the car, we were thinking about getting rid of it because the services are so hard. So, now we are reconsidering. You do need more staff here and more mechanics, the people who actually do the service. It would be nice if you had loaner cars when the service takes all day. But, none of that is Danny's fault. He did keep me up-to-date on what was happening with the car, which didn't happen before, in fact on previous services we could never get anyone on the telephone. There was one outstanding problem that was supposed to be fixed on the first service but never was as we were never notified if the part came in or if we should bring the car down. We tried calling multiple times but could never get through on the phone. So, we'll see how that part goes. Danny explained everything that was going on with the car and all that had been done very clearly. So...keep up the good work of improving this service center. Thank you, Rose
