The service department is significantly understaffed and senior management is solely responsible for this unfortunate situation.
Promised completion days and times are meaningless to senior management and as a result every customer suffers.
This car manufacturer is poorly serviced by this dealership and a change should be made to a new ownership group.
The app and website are needing updates. Since July 2025 I've been trying to set up maintenance appointments through both but couldn't make it not even once.

She was very attentive, answered my questions, explained everything clearly, got me out of there on time, offered a Lyft if I needed it (which I didn’t) and was also just very pleasant. Best service I’ve ever had at this dealership for sure.

Initial contact with Madison was professional and through. Now waiting for contact with service.
Oscar asked if I could wait for the car, when he told me it would take 4 hours I opted to go home. Subsequently nobody looked at the car that day. The following day we waited and the car was quickly done.
I would call that failure to communicate that if I waited the car would be looked at.
I also expected timely communication about the status of the car but didn't get it.
The dealership also rarely answers the phone or issues a robot to answer that is very unhelpful.
One positive is that lately I've been getting called back when I leave message, though only at random times.
Definitely not good service.

In New York, my service appointment was completed in a maximum of 2 hours, but in San Francisco, they made me wait for a full 5 hours. I am very dissatisfied. My whole day was spent waiting at the service center. I will go to a different service center next time. My name is Ahmet Kose

I replaced my two rear tires on my 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe And since then I’ve been trying to have the dealership file a warranty claim with Perelli tires so I can get reimbursed, but I’m having a hard time getting hold of anyone and if I do leave a message, no one is calling you back
They scratched the interior of my windshield when they cleaned it adding to my faulty windshield issues!

Excellent customer service from Hyundai San Bruno. Oscar my service rep was great giving me a loaner car since I am a good 30 miles away was wonderful. All was perfect. Same thing with the sales team when I was dealing with them definitely would get another car from here if I needed one.
Elizabeth was very help, pleasant and friendly. She answered all of my questions and she even scheduled a Lyft ride for me while I was waiting for my car to be serviced. She has wonderful customer service skills… She deserves a bonus!
