I wasn't too happy to hear about the 3 remaining oil changes left when I was coming in for my 1st one. Felt that he was making me feel incompetent saying that "it's like you can get unlimited amount of oil change". He did not even try to check my terms carefully to assure me either. I had to ask him several times if he can show me the oil change setting on my car too. 3/5 stars overall.
Parts are extremely over priced in comparison to 2 other dealers. I did my own research to discover that. Jay was very helpful & ended up accommodating me.

Joey was top notch! He completely took care of every aspect of my visit to the El Monte Hyundai service department. Give him a big raise! He deserves that and a big new title. I’m sold on this dealership. What you can do is improve the waiting area for the customers. That could be way nicer.
Kevin basically held my hand throughout the entire time my car had major repairs done. Kevin was so very kind and patient to deal with my concerns and never made me feel like I was a bother…because of the service I received at CardinaleWay Hyundai of El Monte-my next car will be purchased through this dealership-excellent service!!!
The Serviceman was great. I want to trust, but I can’t help but feel the services recommended are so overpriced. Today, I had the “Better Service done. It was $119.95 and that was for be. Everything was checked green but the only recommended replacements were the cabin air/,and regular air filter. I was shocked that I was quoted $69.99 for air filter and $59.99 for cabin filter. These parts I was able to purchase both parts (OEM) for $26.00 ???? The replacing of the parts are easy to install and I’m sure would take no time at all. Pull out glove box with 2 twist parts for cabin and two clamps for air filter ? All of 10 mins maybe..
I’m going to have to reconsider my future appointments and car services. I understand the economy, but it’s tough for everyone. I don’t like the feeling of being gouged. I own 3 Hyundais, a Tuscon, (Son) a Santa Fe (Me) and my wife’s Kona. I am severely disappointed. We’ve been proud Hyundai owners for over 25 years…

When a service center is asked for an estimate, don't give a list of parts, don't say if you do this, we will do that. Just PROVIDE THE COMPLETE ESTIMATE WITH ALL CHARGES. Also, I just want to say how disappointing it was that your service ppl refused to call an uber for me to get home when I dropped my car off. I walked 9 miles home in the rain.
