I live on the east side of Madison and willingly travel to the west side for vehicle service because I have always valued Smart Toyota’s customer service. I have also purchased all of my vehicles from Smart Toyota for this reason. Unfortunately, my most recent service visit was disappointing. Prior to scheduling my appointment, I received a coupon in the mail and specifically spoke with a representative who confirmed that the coupon could be used toward my service. However, when I arrived for my appointment, my service advisor, Gregorio Jimenez, told me the coupon could not be used because it was not valid at that location. I was then told to go online to see what offers were available instead. What was most frustrating was not just the coupon issue, but the lack of concern or effort to help resolve it. The interaction felt dismissive, and I did not feel valued as a long-time customer. This experience was unexpected and did not reflect the level of customer service that has kept me loyal to Smart Toyota over the years. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as customer service is the main reason I choose to continue doing business with Smart Toyota.

We have had a recall on our minivan for 4 of the 9 months that makes it not safe for us to use with our kids and no one is able to give us an answer as to when it will be fixed. It's also very frustrating that we bought this car specifically to drive our kids around and we can't do that safely.

After the service my oil cap was not replaced and made blew oil every inside the engine compartment. I would like a replacement engine oil cap if possible. Most of my experiences with Smart has been nothing but positive, but this one was a disappointment.

I used the car wash after my service appointment and it did not rinse off the soap on my car when I got home I had to wash off dried soap stains from my car.

This bust was probably the first time I felt like my advisor wasn’t super confident and knowledgeable about what was going on. I would ask questions and he wasn’t really sure of the answer. This was also the second visit in a row that the maintenance light on the dash wasn’t reset.

I visited the Toyota service center yesterday for a recall service, and the experience was excellent. The staff was professional, courteous, and well-organized from check-in to completion. They clearly explained the recall, what work would be performed, and the expected time. The service was completed efficiently and at no cost, and I was kept informed throughout the process. My vehicle was returned in good condition, and everything was handled smoothly and professionally. Overall, it was a stress-free and positive service experience. I appreciate Toyota’s commitment to safety and customer care, and I would confidently recommend their service department to others
