I was asked if I wanted to change my air filter. The employee told me the cost of the air filter (about $55) and I agreed to have it changed at this price. When the service was completed and I received my bill, I saw the charge for the air filter (about $55) and a charge for the labor to install the filter (about $30). I was not aware this second labor charge (in addition to the labor charge for the oil change) would be incurred. I think the employee should either indicate both the parts cost and labor costs when soliciting more service OR there shouldn’t be additional labor costs.
