I bought a 2021 gold certified rav4 a month ago. Its been in service almost the entire month with one issue that is now fixed and one they cant figure out. And have sent me home twice saying they fixed it but havent. Now Im being told I may be sent home again even though a mechanic and my service rep continue to hear the noise. I have been told the certification was approved with after market parts that shouldnt have been and now I feel like it was a bait and switch. As a person who did due diligence and looked for a car 6 months before purchasing and specifically purchased this car because it is gold certified, I am extremely disappointed. I am about to make my first car payment on a car I havent even been able to drive.
It was a bit longer than what was initially said to me. And I was going in with the thought that I wasn’t going to spend $100 dollars on a services that was advertised for not even $90. For waiting so long I really thought I would have been given some sort of discount. But the advisor did apologized, I just would have brought work with me if I knew I was going to be there for 3+ hours.
He was knowledgeable, efficient, and personable!
We were on the lot for hours and came away with a new car. Everyone was very nice and very patient.
Joel was super friendly and professional. He took ownership of moving my manual transmission car himself rather than allow someone who isn’t familiar with a clutch to attempt to maneuver it. Joel was honest to not push a brake pad replacement when my vehicle doesn’t need it right away and gave me a realistic timeframe as to when to get that taken care of. My brief conversation with Joel when I picked up my car was pleasant and I would recommend him to others.
Discrepancies with brakes and tires from two prior appointments to this one. Unsure which tech is actually correct, as within 3,000 miles both have greatly decreased with no logical reason.

He told us to bring both of our cars in, of which we purchased from you, only to find out that the part for the truck had not arrived, and he said he left a voicemail message the night before, but I did not get is message.. I had to arrange for a friend to drive one of our vehicles to smart because my husband can’t drive yet after just having had a heart and kidney transplant. We still have not had a call back about the truck part.
He was personable, knowledgeable, and thorough, a pleasure to work with.
He explained the two filters, if they needed change or were okay for continued use, and where they belong in the car. I liked that he does explaining of has been looked over.
