My experience definitely fell short of expectations - I received a confirmation of my appointment for 7:30am at Bay #8, I arrived a few minutes early and waiting in front of Bay#8 for 10 minutes until someone came and said that bays 5-8 were not being used today and that I should go to Bay#1 behind the other car. I waited there another 10 minutes to be checked-in with no response to my statement of the flubbed appointment confirmation for Bay#8. The waiting room was decent and I had coffee and did a bit of work while waiting. When I was called up to the counter the attendant slid the stack of paper over to me saying that he needed me to sign the top copy. He didn’t walk me through what had been done and associated charges or anything. I scanned it and informed him that there shouldn’t be any charges for the services today as this is a Certified Used Gold vehicle just recently purchased from Smart Motors and I should have 12 months of regular maintenance for free. He was stymied and had to go confer with a supervisor. Five minutes later he returned to his computer and printed out a new version of the paperwork with the zero charges.
So, your computer system gave me an appointment to a closed service bay. The staff were very matter of fact and lackluster. The computer system didn’t show that my services, which your system sent me reminders that it was time to come in for the services, were part of covered regular services. And the staff never made any apologies for the mix-ups.
So none of this is terrible and the service to the vehicle was done well and timely once it got in, but it’s definitely not good customer service. And that is the business that your staff are in, customer service.
This was my first time at Smart Motors, and I was pleasantly surprised by all aspects of the experience.

Service was fast and easy. Everything was on-time. The estimate for the amount of time it would take was almost exact. Sean kept me informed every 15 mins or so during my wait. Very nice job, this is why I come to your dealership instead of the one on the east of Madison.
While the service itself was fine, there is nothing express about the express service. The only service required was rotate 4 tires. We waited 2.5 hours.

We really like our Tacoma off road. It's our 2nd Tacoma. Replaced a 2009 Tacoma. It was in good condition. We wanted to update and have a crew cab. 2022 Tacoma fits our needs and we found 1 with lots of options plus a 6 speed and key start! Our old Tacoma was a standard transmission also. 2022 has alot more computer electronic updates than old 1 to get used to. Thank you Justin for explaining alot ofthe electronics to me.
