We have been Smart customers and Toyota drivers since 1985 when my husband bought his first little truck off the semi truck— luck has it, it here was just enough room in the front seat for our first baby daughter’s car seat. Now MANY years later and many models of Toyota vehicles, at 72 I am totally enjoying the comfort and great gas mileage of my Avalon. (3 years and 180,000 worth! I have always been the one to take care of the vehicle maintenance/service for our family—going to Smart is my. Madison day’s outing AND I love to relax with the freshly baked cookies, coffee and newspaper. Thanks for the memories ???? Rox

Our representative was good, I just don’t overall have a positive experience at SmartToyota service. I feel like I’m always being upsold on additional services that are needed. For example,seemingly every single customer that was there this morning was told that their filters are dirty and need to be replaced. In a previous appointment I was told I needed new tires when the car was essentially 18 months old. When making this appointment I noted I wanted my radio looked at it is not properly making phone calls, but when I got there I was told that they can’t do that in an express bay (even though I’m not the one that booked myself into an express bay).
I was treated shortly after arriving for me appointment. The service tech. took my info and took care of my vehicle.

Greg was fantastic. When I scheduled the appt I didn’t have the option to pick “wait at dealership” and my car wasn’t going to be ready in time for an appt. He offered a free shuttle to the spot and cab ride back.

You did not quote the full amount for parts labors and fees when getting approval. Showing up and having to pay an extra $100+ from what we were anticipating is bad business. I hope we don’t have to return.
