I was charged $16.35 for "shop supplies". I did not notice this charge until I got home. I called Smart and talked to my service rep. He told me this was a standard fee charged to all customers to cover the cost of things like rags, towels, etc. This charge is outrageous. I had only an oil change and tire rotation and the charge for "supplies" was $16.34? That's more than the cost of the filter!! The shop supplies fee was not included in my price quote when I set up my appointment. I think charging this fee is deceptive, misleading, and really sleazy. When comparing costs for service providers to perform my service by not including this charge in your costs does a real disservice. This charge is really unnecessary and does not pass the Smell Test. Please discontinue this practice and just include "shop supplies" in the quoted online price. Now I have to take the time to check Reddit and other social media to see if others have experienced a similar reaction.

I was very pleased with the reception and service completed on my vehicle. I had previously used the competitor lococated on the east side of Madison, I was very disappointed with the service I had recieved from them on multiple occasions, it was closer to where I live and I sacrificed quality for what I thought was convenience. I should have made the switch to Smart Toyota sooner, not only did I recieve much better quality and care, I was also able to schedule maintenance without having to wait weeks for availability. Thank you Smart Toyota, you have gained a new customer!

Very disappointed that we had our son’s car there 11 days ago for an oil change, and your complete inspection. They did find that the front breaks needed work. (10) days later, these front breaks vegans steeling and making noise. Called, and took the car back. They did another “inspection” and told us the breaks were in good shape, but we needed a new battery, and work on the exhaust. How can a cars battery and exhaust go bad in 11 days, while both were marked off as in good shape earlier. Really makes a customer wonder how truthful this really is. A battery typically will not go bad in 11 days in the middle of the summer. Let alone the exhaust needing work from rusted parts in 11 days. Very questionable! Maybe it would have been different if we were shown anything to validate these things. You text me several times about the car, why couldn’t a video have been done and included in those texts, and emails.
