I had a 9:30 appointment. It took 5 hours before I got any information. Why make appointments if you just have to wait all day regardless. It was misleading. Just say bring in your car on the day and we will have it ready by 5. Any where else an appointment means that is when something is done, a haircut, a dental procedure, etc.

I have gotten so much misinformation since purchasing my 2024 RAV 4. I called to ask if my tires were rotated in Dec. 2024 and was told no. Today I was told that they were. I was also told that I had used all 4 service appointments even though this is only my second service appointment. In the past, I was told I should have my vehicle service, but was turned away after showing up for my appointment and then received an abrupt email about not showing up even though I was there for the time I had scheduled. I love my vehicle, but dread scheduling service.

Yesterday, I went to the Smart Motor Parts Department to buy two light bulbs for my car. The total came to $46 with tax, which seemed quite expensive. I decided to proceed anyway, thinking that the Toyota staff might help replace them for free—as the Parts staff had done so in the past.
However, this time the Parts staff told me I needed to go through the Service Department instead. The Service manager arranged it right away and replaced the bulbs quickly and skillfully. When he finished, he said the cost would be $18 plus a $12.50 labor fee, plus tax.
In the end, replacing two simple bulbs cost nearly $85—much more than expected. Next time, I’ll just buy the bulbs online and replace them myself.
