I already spoke with someone so don’t need to again. I understand why the Kokomo dealership said they could not honor my warranty since I bought my car through another Toyota dealership however, I do still think it’s crappy of Toyota in general to offer such warranty and not explain clearly it may not be honored at other dealerships. I do not fault Kokomo, they took the time to explain but I was not happy with how things went so said dissatisfied on the surgery. It has nothing to do with Kokomo Toyota dealership and everything to do with the dealership in Indianapolis I bought it from not explaining it this way when purchased.

Hi, I appreciate the follow-up. Unfortunately, my experience today was disappointing. I came in clearly stating that I was there for an oil change and confirmed that I had ToyotaCare, but was told it would be $30 since the coverage had expired. I agreed to pay. When I returned, I was told only a tire rotation had been done—even though I never asked for that service. When I questioned it, the representative was dismissive, insisted she "explained it to me" (she hadn’t), and implied I should have known an oil change wouldn't be $30. The interaction felt condescending and unprofessional.

I felt the recommendation for alignment was not based on any actual metrics. The implication was that scuffed rims were associated with the recommendation. No reference to uneven tire wear, It felt like unnecessary upselling. The battery recommendation, on the other hand, had measurable evidence. However the cost quoted is just too much greater than I can do elsewhere.

They got my RAV4 in quickly and got the service done. It helps to not have to set a long time waiting. And Jessica explained what they did and answered a question I had. It was a pleasant time today.
