Baxter Toyota of Lincoln Auto Repair Service

Truck was returned with grime around the top of the door. I had to go wash it right after leaving. When I have taken it to Corwin Toyota for follow up they always wash and vacuum out the truck before giving it back. I plan on trading in and buying a new truck after 3 years and the extra effort I see from the two dealers will make a huge impact.

Would be nice to have a bench or an outdoor place to sit while waiting for your vehicle. Otherwise everything was great.

The car got serviced in a timely manner

I used to own a Subaru, and the rep always went over the report with me after the service was finished. That seems to be missing from Toyota, as all they do is text you the report. I miss the personal touch. Other than that, it was ok.

First, it took two weeks to get an oil change scheduled. When I dropped my vehicle off, I told the employee about a plastic piece that broke under my vehicle and I had to cut off because it was dragging. He looked at me like I was stupid for asking about it. I never got a report about what it was upon pick-up. When I picked up, my bill was $133+. I have never paid over $80 for an oil change before. I have only paid $90 when it included tire rotation and picking my vehicle up from work for me and bringing it back. When I picked up, I asked if my vehicle was washed and the employee said there wasn’t a note to wash it. Apparently you have to ask for it to be washed here. I would think for an oil change that of over $50 more than anywhere else, you would at least ask the customer if they want a wash. This is all on top of the fact that employees were not friendly either at drop off or pickup.

Miscommunication on portion of service

The oil change/tire rotation was estimated to take an hour, but it took just over two hours with no updates to me.

Very knowledgeable and reassuring service agent. He was honest and reassuring that we could wait a while longer for new tires.

Stephanie was very personable. She was smiling and talked to me Stephanie was knowledgeable in the service of my car and explained how and why things were done. Which no one has ever done before!! I really appreciate Stephanie.

I had chosen online to only complete the oil change and tire rotation. I specifically did not choose the inspection. After 1.5 hrs of waiting, I checked on what the delay was and I was informed they were just completing the inspection. I informed them that I had not chosen that option because I was limited by time and they said “Oh we do this on all vehicles.” Very irritated that it took almost 2 hours for a simple oil change and tire rotation.
