Air filter and engine filter - $85 each. That is CRAZY prices. Doing the research the cost on these are anywhere from $10-$30. I understand labor fees , but not that kinda of mark up. I cannot even understand $160 oil change for this car. Over 75% of that was additional fees. After researching the price for oil filter and oil I could have had a friend do this and spend less than $60. I cannot afford to bring my car back to Toyota.

Niman was friendly and approachable. He didn't pressure me into any services today. He pointed out which would be the most important, and made sure I knew my car was still safe at this time. I appreciated the facts and no hard sell.

Rep was nice and helpful, however when I asked what the total price was going to be when I dropped my car off he said he didn’t know. I was getting an oil change and tire rotation. 2 set prices. What he guessed was thankfully $30 higher than what it was but I would think your staff should know this. Also I was told there was a problem with my less than 2 year old tires and the problem would have developed over time and NOT happened spontaneously. When I asked why this was the first I had heard about the problem and that it had not been caught at any other multi point inspection, he didn’t know. Allegedly the interior tread of my tires has worn down but they only have 38k miles on them and service has been exclusively done at Sullivan Bros and it has NEVER been mentioned to me as a problem before. The rep claimed that it was my driving that wore them down which while plausible, I find very difficult to believe. Again he couldn’t answer my question about why this was just being shown to me now and it on any of the last 2-4 multi point inspections and he again didn’t know. I do want to stress he was not rude just didn’t know and I found that very surprising on both.
