First, when we purchased our 2022 Platinum Hybrid Highlander we were told that our tires would not be patchable because they were run flats so we agreed to the tire warranty and were told that if they were damaged that no questions would be asked, they would be replaced under warranty. On Monday I called to schedule service for my tires, knowing atleast two of them had something in them. Spoke with Joy whom said she would get 4 tires ordered. Spoke to Connor in service who confirmed my tires were run flats and could not be patched. Dropped my highlander off on Wednesday night. Received a text on Thursday that I had “missed my appt”- even though my car was there. My appt was scheduled for 730a, finally heard something late afternoon. Guy said tires could be patched because they were NOT run flats and only one tire would be under warranty. Asked to speak to a manager. 3 hours later, John G called and confirmed the tires were not run flats and we would be looking at $1180. When I asked how the organization was going to make this right due to the poor service of being told wrong things and stating I missed my appointment he stated “we can sell you 3 new tires… we shouldn’t patch because the tread is just above 3”. Even though I had my car in for a check up 2 months ago and there were NO concerns in my tire tread. Then to find out that my tires were not ordered on Monday like joy and Connor said would happen. Had to wait until Friday to get my car back. Terrible customer service and staff constantly mis informing the customers. Clearly the finance guy when we purchased the car lied to us to just get the warranty sale. We have purchased 2 brand new vehicles from you guys and each service appt gets worse with mis information and sarcastic management. I will say the gentleman whom checked us out was nice and professional. Very disappointing in the service Toyota gives their long time customers and no longer able to believe what anyone in the organization says.
