I scheduled an appointment last Friday at 12:25pm for Thursday at open after being told my key fob would not arrive until Tuesday, which is why I specifically chose Thursday. During that scheduling call, I provided my VIN, explained all issues needing addressed, including recall items and the driver-side door lock issue affecting both the front and rear doors. To make things easier, I dropped my truck off Wednesday night so it would already be there for my scheduled appointment. At 9:30 AM Thursday, I received a check-in text stating my truck was scheduled to be looked at at 2:30 PM. I immediately called and was told I was not actually on the schedule and was simply considered a “drop off.” On top of that, the key fob I was told would be available was not there. Then, despite me clearly explaining that BOTH the front and rear driver-side door locks are not functioning, the quote I received only included the front door actuator. I was repeatedly told the rear door was working. I went to the parking lot myself to verify. The rear driver-side door does NOT lock or unlock: with the interior door controls with the key fob or with the exterior door handle touch lock/unlock feature So not only was the vehicle not properly diagnosed, I was repeatedly told I was incorrect about my own vehicle. I also contacted Toyota Customer Care because, after researching online, this appears to be a common issue affecting many Toyota vehicles. I was told this would be an out-of-pocket expense despite this being a 2024 vehicle with a premature failure and widespread similar complaints. Overall, this experience was disappointing from start to finish: My scheduled appointment was apparently not scheduled. The promised part was not available. My issue was not properly diagnosed. I was repeatedly told I was wrong when I was not. And Toyota has refused to stand behind what appears to be a common manufacturer-related issue. You asked for feedback, so here it is. I expected much better service and communication from Toyota.

John was great! Came in for an oil change but with John listening to a comment from me about an error code I had never seen before found my battery was soon to be not working. Saved me from getting stuck somewhere with not knowing what to do. We’ve gone Warsaw Toyota since they opened in Warsaw and so glad we have a dealership locally. We’ve been a Toyota family since 1985.
