Thanks for the oil change and tire rotation. If you would have provided a car wash with I would have rated an A+

My service advisor never explained to me why I needed to pay about $63 more than the service I received today actually costs. To compare with the identical service I got 9 months ago I now paid at least around $20 more for supplies, as I don't see how the rugs used as supplies could cost more than ten bucks, for it was always not more than that till today, when its price suddenly went up to $30.94, i.e. more than 3 times (FYI, for the same service 9 mo. ago I paid $0 for supplies), while my advisor never mentioned to me that the rugs you use now are made of some precious materials. 9 mo. ago the total time for diagnostics and labor (before the discount deal that I got from the manager) was 1.2 hrs. altogether, but today it was 1.5 altogether (1 hr. for diagnostics plus 0.5 hr. for the part replacement). As my advisor dismissed the idea that your technicians now work slower, that means I paid for more time that they actually spent for me. This is because today my total for diagnostics and labor was ($90 labor + $170 diagnostics) x 0.85 (due to Costco 15% discount) = $221. Now, if it were calculated the right way, i.e. using the total number of hours for diagnostics and labor that actually equals 1.2 hrs., then the total would be, ($175/hr. x 1.2 hrs.) x 0.85 (due to 15% Costco discount) = $178.5. Now, the difference between these two, $221 - $178.50, is $42.50 and, after $20 overpayment for supplies is added to it, my total amount of overpayment amounts to: $42.50 + $20 = $62.50.

1.5 hrs for a 5000 mile factory required service that was mainly a tire rotation was way to long

A young woman at the front desk (Liz?) was very helpful in connecting my phone to the car. She provided friendly, professional, efficient service. Clearly, she’s an asset to your team.
