1. Your representative was very friendly.
2. Your business could not tell me why the car is misfiring, and gave me the same computer based list of car issues every other mechanic gave me over the last two months, nothing was new or helpful. So I wasted $200.
3. I had to correct your representative that I did not need a Variable Valve Solinoid — it was replaced a week before I came to you.
A wasted visit and expense with super friendly staff.

I paid over $1000 for 4 new tires and the very next day my driver side tire blew out on the freeway. I almost got into an accident. I barely made it to the road side to call AAA, and when they arrived they told me the tire wasn’t beaded properly. When I came back in a day later to replace the tire I was met with annoyance and people ignoring me. I had to ask if I could get out of my vehicle because no one told me what’s going on. I left my car at the dealership at 7:32 am and they didn’t contact me all day as I kept trying to speak to my advisor and was getting the voicemail for over 2 hours. They claimed they didn’t have the one tire for a Honda fit but had 4 the day before. I was forced to pay for labor which is not fair considering it was entirely Honda of Oakland’s fault that tire was not put on properly. I also had to take a Lyft from alameda at the last minute as they didn’t finish putting ONE TIRE on until 5pm and they closed at 6pm if I have to service my Honda again I’ll go to a different dealership. II would never buy a car there again as I wouldn’t want it serviced at Honda of Oakland.

Chris Abernathy brought the standard of great customer service to a higher level. His professionalism, patience and empathy for my concerns demonstrated his sincerity for providing outstanding customer service.
Victor was very friendly but I feel the company is running a bait and switch iteration. I made an appt online, entered my mileage and additional info about what I wanted done. I rearranged my morning to get the oil change.
After 15 minutes of looking up my maintenance history and telling me all the add on services it needed, I was told not even the oil change was needed yet and I should just come back another time if I had to have the car back for my afternoon caregiving duties for a 90 year old relative going to chemo and radiation.
After asking to speak with a manager, which bender happened, the effort was made to complete ther oil change in the ruine I'd fed up, but there other item id entered for my appt was never addressed.
You're appointment system would be more useful if it clearly stated the approximate waiting time between these appt and starting work in the car. I was told that was running 2-3 hours. It would have been more efficient and less stressful to skip Honda and just go to an oil change service elsewhere.

I found my service advisor not as friendly as I want to be treated. He seemed to say my name at least seven times in a period of two minute conversation. I came in for A1, A2 maintenance service and offered me a 90,000 mile service package. I politely declined and surely documented the service. What I don’t appreciate is his condescending and attitude to treat me as a person and as a paying customer. First, he had promised to have the car ready in three hours and was returned me four hours later. I felt he did not want to talk to me personally about my needed repairs. At the end, he would yell from his desk and say have a nice day. No one deserves to be treated like a child in a playground after paying three hundred dollars for using the dealer service. And as a customer service worker, I would not treat my clients the way he treated me that day.
I paid over $1000 for 4 tires and oil change and the next day my brand new tire exploded on freeway almost causing an accident.
