I was frustrated to find out that the two prior times I took my car in for service around the 30,000 mark that the 30,000 service was not done or offered. I found out I was way overdue apparently and needed a bunch of work done. I bought a service plan that apparently covers almost nothing and had a huge bill. Then had to pay in cash/debit because your credit card fee is so high. If I didn’t already pay the service contract I might choose to go elsewhere. They being said Carlos was fine and the service was done this time as expected. I feel like the nice perks you might get at other dealerships are lacking here. I doubt the prices are better and to have to pay a card fee on top of that for large amounts really sticks it to the customer.
Chris is absolutely amazing. He is a great communicator. He keeps me informed of what is going on with the car, what needs to be done and why. He’s super nice and personable. He’s a gem.
Tommy was very nice. There was a discrepancy in the price he quoted me and what was on the bill. The supervisor lowered it, not to the same cost but at least it was lowered. Secondly, Tommy said they could give me a form to request a refund for the money I paid to charge the AC that was leaking - the supervisor said I needed to look at the recall letter I received for info on that. The clerk offered to print my invoice but I said I had it. She kindly said if I did not have my invoice to call and she would email it to me.
Erin gives excellent customer service every time I bring my car in for service. She is professional, courteous and gives great customer care!
Brought car in for service on 9/20. $1500. Two weeks later it overheated. Brought it in for service. Was told problem was blown head gasket. After low mileage. Told 10 days later there was an additional problem, not head gasket. Car in shop nearly 3 weeks. Another $8700. Phone calls were not returned. I cannot trust your shop or your automobiles. Will never buy or recommend Honda again.
A major part of the service wasn't done, the differential change, when I arrived to pick my car up at the end of the day, so my car wasn't ready, and then I was told I would be reimbursed for my Lyft rides, and then was not the next day because he said he couldn't do any more discount than the $100, which I thought was for the inconvenience of not having the car done, when I communicated my dissatisfaction, he was rude, I spend $3000, and for this amount expect much better customer service. I have always taken my car here for service, and had planned to continue, I do all the services, and Honda Oakland just lost me as a customer, I will find another place for next ones. Also the 2% charge to use a credit card is not okay and against the law in California, not okay to put this on your customers, this should be the cost of doing business. Another reason to find another shop that doesn't do this.
Diem was so supportive and so understanding. He was kind and sensitive which helped me so much since I had just had $3400 worth of work on my car just 4 days prior. Diem was sensitive to my financial needs and my emotional state.

Victor is great! He understood what I needed and told me what my vehicle needed for my next visit. His communication and customer service skills is another level.
I’m fine with the work that was done but very upset to be charged a service fee for using my credit card to pay for the repairs. I will definitely think twice about returning in the future. I left a voicemail this morning for the service manager to call me but have not heard back as yet.
Vincent was a very pleasant and helpful advisor. He will be one the reason for me and my family to re-visit for future services
